SEO is the process of increasing web traffic to a website. Search engines are programs that help people find websites online. There are over three billion searches done daily on search engines; therefore, having a high ranking on the search engine results page (SERP) is imperative for any business that wants to reach potential customers.
The first step of the SEO services plan requires identifying keywords relevant to the products/services being offered. Once these keywords have been identified, they need to be incorporated into pages on websites. Next, content needs to be added to the sites that include those keywords. Lastly, links to the websites must be established. The purpose of an SEO services plan is to increase the number of visitors coming to a website. For this to happen, the person doing the marketing needs to know how to build backlinks, optimize the site, and incorporate keywords-
- Keyword Research- The first step in any search engine optimization campaign is keyword research. This means finding out what people are searching for online. This information will help determine what keywords need to go into your website’s copy and content. In addition, it helps identify long-tail keywords (those that have higher search volumes) that may not get much traffic but still cost less than high-volume keywords.
- Competitor Analysis- You want to know who your competitors are and how they rank for certain keywords. If you don’t know where to start, they recommend using SEMrush or Google AdWords to find out how your competition ranks. You’ll then know if you’re ahead or behind them.
- Onsite Optimization- Once you’ve identified your target keywords, the next step is optimizing your pages for those terms (SEO services plan). Most webmasters make the mistake of trying to stuff their articles full of these keywords instead of using synonyms. So rather than using the word “accounting,” use the word “bookkeeping.” By doing this, you give yourself room to breathe and allow readers to understand the concepts you’re talking about without feeling forced.
- Offsite Optimization- On top of offsite links, webmasters should also create backlinks to their sites from authoritative websites. These types of backlinks tell Google that other sites recognize your site as being relevant and of good quality. Creating backlinks to your site lets Google know that you’re building trustworthiness and authority.
- Content Creation- Content creation includes everything from blog posts to videos. A strong backlink profile isn’t worth anything if no one sees it. That’s why it’s crucial to publish unique, useful content that people want to read or watch.
- Social Media Marketing- Social media marketing campaigns often involve sharing content across several platforms like- Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and others. While social media marketing doesn’t directly influence rankings (SEO services plan), it does increase brand awareness and reach a wider audience.
- Website Speed Optimization- Having a slow-loading website is a surefire way to lose potential customers. According to Google’s Page Speed Insights, a page speed of under 2 seconds is ideal. If yours takes longer than that, it could affect your ranking.
